Policy Overview Two Categories

At Design Matinee, our collection spans both ready-to-wear boutique sizes and individualized bespoke commissions. Because each category has distinct production characteristics, the following policy applies:

1. Ready-Made Pieces

7-Day Exchange Window: Eligible for exchange within 7 days of delivery for physical manufacturing defects or an incorrect size/item shipped.

Change of mind is not covered. Garment must be unworn with original tags intact.

2. Made-to-Measure & Custom

Strictly Non-Returnable: Custom-cut outfits tailored to your unique anatomical specifications cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged.

Built-in 1.5 to 2-inch alteration allowance provided on all seams.

How to Initiate a Ready-Made Exchange

If your ready-made piece arrives damaged in transit, defective, or incorrect:

  • Step 1: Contact Us on WhatsApp: Message us at +91 96908 88830 within 7 calendar days of receipt.
  • Step 2: Share Documentation: Provide your order name, product code (`DM-XXXX`), and clear photographs highlighting the defect or incorrect item.
  • Step 3: Quality Check & Replacement: Upon verification, our courier will collect the package. A replacement garment or exchange credit will be processed within 5–7 business days.

Made-to-Measure Fitting Commitment

To eliminate remote fitting anxiety for clients living outside Meerut or overseas:

  • 18-Point Measurement Guidance: Your personal stylist reviews all measurements over a structured WhatsApp video or photo guide before cutting fabric.
  • Built-in Alteration Margins: Every bespoke lehenga, gown, and anarkali is tailored with an internal 1.5 to 2-inch margin inside the seams, allowing easy local adjustments if measurements fluctuate before your event.
Pre-Commitment Notice: In accordance with requirement W-028, all made-to-measure orders are final once cutting begins. Terms are acknowledged on the product page and confirmed in your WhatsApp quote before payment is accepted.
